Professor Xia Yong and Ph.D. Candidate Pan Yongsheng Won the Championship of the C-NMC Discipline Competition at the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging 2019

[Jia Haozhe and Xia Yong, School of Computer Science] The results of the "Classification of Normal versus Malignant Cells in B-ALL White Blood Imaging (C-NMC)" Competition at IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) 2019 were presented on April 11. The Unite Team composed of Professor Xia Yong research group of the National Engineering Laboratory of Space-Earth-Sea Integrated Big Data Applied Technology of the School of Computer Science of Northwestern Polytechnical University and Professor Shen Dinggang Team of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill won the championship in this competition. This was another breakthrough made by our research team in the field of medical imaging, which fully demonstrated the technical strength of our School of Computer Science in the emerging cross-over study direction of medical imaging intelligent computing.
