Aiming to leverage the complementary strengths of NUS and the advantageous disciplines of selected "Double First-Class" universities in China, the program recruits outstanding Year 3 students from partner institutions. Admitted students will spend their Year 4 academic year at the NUS Chongqing Research Institute, undertaking one-year bridging courses delivered entirely in English.

Students who complete the bridging courses and meet the graduation requirements of their undergraduate institutions will be eligible to directly apply for relevant master’s programs at NUS. Notably, all students from the first two cohorts of the program who applied for the Master of Computer Engineering program at NUS were successfully admitted.
