School of Computer Science (SCS) has been approved of two national-level international cooperation and exchange centers. Through over 20 years’ cooperation with Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Belgium, we have made remarkable results. In 2014, under the witness of President Xi Jinping, we signed an agreement on scientific research and talent cultivation between VUB and NPU. We have also established long-term and stable cooperative relations with Yale University, the University of Sydney, the National University of Singapore, the University of Strasbourg in France and other internationally renowned universities, institutions and well-known scholars. In the past five years, SCS has sent more than 50 co-supervised doctoral students to international famous universities.
SCS has undertaken ACCV, UIC, ER and other important international academic conferences. A number of teachers served as the editorial board/guest editorial board of IEEE Trans. On human-machine Systems, IEEE Communications Magazine and other journals, and as the chairman/program chairman of IEEE PerCom, IEEE UIC and other international conferences.
