SCS has 152 faculty members, among which there are 120 teachers including 34 professors, 65 associate professors. 101 teachers have doctor's degrees, accounting for 84.2%. 92 teachers have overseas study experience, accounting for 78.3%. Of these staffs,there are 2 academicians of both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 11 professors with titles in national programs such as Cheung Kung Scholars Program and National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars; and 17 professors with titles in provincial or ministerial programs.
