[Chen Fan, School of Computer Science] On the afternoon of April 25, 2019, Professor Zhao Wei, Vice-president of the American University of Sharjah, UAE, Professor C. L. Philip Chen, Dean of Engineering College of University of Macau and Academician of Academia Europaea, and Professor Geyong Min of University of Exeter, UK, were invited to visit the the history gallery of School of Computer Science, accompanied by Yu Zhiwen, Secretary of Party Committee, and Deng Lei, Vice-dean of School of Computer Science.Secretary Yu briefed the experts on the development of School of Computer Science, discipline pioneers, direction of discipline development, personnel training and scientific research achievements obtained in recent years.

At 2:30 p.m., Professors Zhao Wei, C. L. Philip Chen and Geyong Min delivered an academic lecture for all teachers and students in the New Lecture Hall of School of Computer Science. The meeting was presided over by Secretary Yu Zhiwen.First, Professor Zhao Wei, Vice-president of the American University of Sharjah, UAE, delivered a lecture entitled "The Future of Computer Science".

Subsequently, Professor C. L. Philip Chen, Dean of Engineering College of University of Macau, delivered a lecture entitled "Broad Learning: A paradigm shift in discriminatory creative learning".

Professor Geyong Min of University of Exeter, UK, delivered a lecture entitled "Network Big Data Analysis for Autonomic Future Internet".

After the lecture, the three experts had a friendly exchange and discussion on the contents of the lecture with on-site teachers and students.The lectures covering a wide range, having rich contents, explaining the profound in simple terms and focusing on the frontier were praised by teachers and students attending the meeting, but also laid the foundation for further deepening of international academic exchanges of School of Computer Science.
