Authorized by the Asian Executive Committee of the International Collegiate Programming Contest, our School hosted China Final of 2019 International Collegiate Programming Contest. The Final was successfully held in Chang'an Campus of our university from December 13 to December 15, 2019. A total of 386 teams from 171 universities and 5 secondary schools were invited to participate in the competition, including a total of more than 1,400 teachers and students. The participating universities include 1 foreign universities, 2 overseas universities and 38 universities in The Double First Class University Plan, such as North Korea Jinze Industrial Complex University, The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University and Peking University.

    The School of Computer Science started to prepare for this contest in April 2019, and established an organizing committee dominated by the Computer Basic Teaching and Experiment Center. The organizing committee made up of a conference group, a publicity group, a venue group, a technical group and a volunteer team, completed qualification confirmation and registration for 386 teams as well as other preparatory matters before the contest. In addition, it properly arranged accommodation, catering and transportation for more than 1,400 teachers and students, not only offering good competition conditions for participants, but also facilitating the communication and friendship development between teachers and students from different universities. The efficient, orderly and enthusiastic performance of the organizing committee left a deep impression on the participating teachers and students.

    It is reported that our School has hosted 3 Shaanxi contests, 2 national invitational contests and 3 Asian regional contests of International Collegiate Programming Contest. Therefore, we have established a team of high-quality teachers who are efficient, dedicated and devoted to teaching practice. Now, the concept of "promoting teaching, reform and learning through contest" has gained widely support, which fully reflects positive spirits, excellent ability of our teachers and students as well as our great attention to the contest.
